We already do this in Excel.
Excel isn’t the problem. The time is. Before anything goes into the spreadsheet, someone has to work out how each fee was paid, line by line. The plugin does that part for you, and the totals match the first time.
We already have a payment system.
Keep it, and this sits alongside it. Those systems collect money online, which is a different job. The cash and checks that come across the counter still have to be reconciled, and the turnover sheet still has to be produced. That is the part this does.
Do we need IT? Is this a rollout?
No. Your PowerSchool administrator installs one plugin, and you keep collecting money the way you do now. What changes is how the reconciliation gets done at the end of the period.
